Note to self, there are all sorts of "Cote du Rhone" wines out there, This is a good. Just how they used to be. Deep garnet colour, good weight, fruit, complexity & ripe tannins. NM February 21' (with Tikka Marsala coated whole chicken (a Sunday Roast with a twist!))
About the Wine
Traditional winemaking under temperature control. Cellar ageing: 3 to 5 years. a really charming wine.
About the Winery
The winemaker Vincent Moreau makes this and the Chateau Du Ruth in the main estate. This will be the 331st. Vintage. (He didn't make them all :) )
In the small village of St. Cecile - Les Vignes - The village is first recorded in documents dating 1561.
