Tasting Notes

Nice full classy wine. Deep black grape in colour with gorgeous purple purple look to the pour. Black Forest, vanilla and spicy notes on the nose, with soft white pepper. On the Pallet as smooth as silk, with a rich velvety vibrancy. Will do very nicely with short aging 1-3 years to open and keep the lushness or 5-10 to mature, open out fully, show some age and greater complexity. NM February 21' (with slow roasted Pork Belly)

This wine is elaborated with 7of the 13 permitted varietals for the infamous Chateauneuf du Pape Village rules: 60% Grenache, Syrah 16%, Mouvedre 10%, Counoise 4%, Black Terret 4%, Vaccarese 4%, Pink Clairette 2%. The more the merrier with the best selection to makes each vintage. Blends add complexity and layers of flavour.

Tasting notes: With a garnet-red colour with ruby tints, this wine offers aromas of black pepper, liquorice, cherry, jam fruits, mango. The pallet is complex, rich, mellow, with aromas of garrigue, stone fruits, red fruits. Tannins are elegant, fine. This wine has a long persistency in mouth.

This wine can be kept in a good cellar around 10 years.
